Lakeside is more than just a café—it’s a community-driven concept built around connection, nature, and good food. Created by business partners Adam Mendleson (Boulder) and Hank Grant (Morrison), the brand was born from a shared vision: to make Colorado’s lakes more welcoming, more accessible, and more enjoyable for everyone.

In 2024, Adam and Hank became the proud owners of Rocky Mountain Paddleboard, operating five beautiful locations across the Front Range: Barefoot Lakes, Union Reservoir, Cherry Creek Reservoir, Bear Creek Lake Park, and Boulder Reservoir. With Boulder serving as the hub of the operation, it’s also home to the largest Lakeside café—offering a full food and beverage experience that pairs perfectly with a day on the water.

Lakeside @ Boulder was born from the belief that outdoor spaces should have just as much heart and hospitality as the adventures they inspire. Whether you're grabbing lunch after a paddle, sipping cold brew while the kids play at the beach, or catching a sunrise before your next race, we aim to be a laid-back, high-quality landing spot for locals and visitors alike.

We’re proud to serve the Boulder community—families, friends, athletes, weekend wanderers, and everyone in between. As Boulder Reservoir continues to host some of the area's biggest outdoor and athletic events, Lakeside will be here too—offering great food, cold drinks, and a welcoming spot for spectators to refuel and relax.
